Blaine Soccer Club Update 5/6/2021

Earlier today the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) released their latest guidance as it relates to masking and youth sports. The MDH now states that athletes, spectators and coaches no longer need to wear masks while playing, watching or coaching.

MDH Guidance

TCSL Return to play

What does this mean for Blaine Soccer Club -

  • All Blaine Soccer Club players, coaches and spectators are no longer required to wear masks while attending practices or games. This includes Blaine Soccer Club's Recreational, Development Academy and Competitive programs.
  • Referees are no longer required to wear masks while officiating games.
  • Players, coaches and spectators are encouraged to still bring a mask to events, for pregrame and halftime conversations, if they cannot social distance.
  • Spectators should still social distance on the sideline
  • We will continue to support players and families who wish to wear masks while participating.

We understand that not everyone agrees with certain protocols, procedures and situations, and that is okay. At the end of the day, we want to say thank you to all of you!

Thank you for your continued support.
