Development Academy

PROGRAM INFORMATION

The Twin Cities Rush Development Academy is the bridge between our Recreational and Competitive programs, building fundamental skills to prepare players who are ready for a more rigorous training environment for U9 Competitive. It is highly recommended that all players have 1 year of prior soccer experience before joining the DA.

There are no buddy requests for the Development Academy program, and it is not open to players outside the specified age groups. If you have any questions please contact the program contact below. Players born 2015 or earlier may join the Competitive or Recreational programs.

AGE: Players born January 1, 2016 – December 31, 2017 (U7-U8)

LOCATION: National Sports Center - Outdoor Fields

**Capacity for DA is limited. Registration will close when capacity is reached, which may be before the dates listed above.

SPRING/SUMMER DA SCHEDULE

5/7/2024 - 6/23/2024

Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm

Sundays 5:30-6:30pm

(No session 5/26 for Memorial Day Weekend)

All sessions will be on outdoor fields at the National Sports Center.

Games are played in-house amongst TC Rush DA players. Boys and girls will be in separate groups pending final numbers.

Once registration closes, enrolled families will be added to the program's PlayMetrics page to see the full schedule and begin receiving communications.

PLAYER JERSEY & EQUIPMENT

Each player new to the DA will receive one Capelli Developmental youth top during their first season*. It is preferred that players wear black shorts and socks to all events.

Shin guards are required to participate. Players are responsible for a bringing a size-4 soccer ball and water to all events.

*The Capelli Developmental top is worn for the player’s entire Developmental Academy career (if you would like to purchase a new top for $20, contact, czubal@twincitiesrush.com).
